The body has been taken to the Gass funeral home. Funeral arrangements and obituary will appear in a later edition of The Telegram. ---- The Columbus Daily Telegram, July 12, 1950 JARECKI--Services For Mrs. Frank Jarecki On Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Jarecki, 82, will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic church, with the Rev. Fr. Chester Cymanski officiating. Burial will be made in St. Stanislaus cemetery, Duncan. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gass funeral chapel, where the body will lie in state until time of the services. Mrs. Jarecki died Tuesday at 11:10 a.m. at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Art Greenlee, 2922 Eighth street, where she had recently made her home. She had been in failing health the past two years. Nee Veronica, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Skorupa Podraza. She was born April 15, 1868 at Tarnov, Poland, and at the age of 5 came to the United States with her parents, who then made their home in Polk county. After her marriage to Frank Jarecki on Jan. 28, 1884 at Duncan, they farmed in Polk county until 1924, when they moved to Columbus. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1947. Mrs. Jarecki was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic church. Surviving are her 10 children: Stanley and Edward T., both of Genoa; Mrs. Josephine Stachura, Shelby; Mrs. Louise Chochon, Humphrey; Mrs. Felicia Swantek, Genoa; Mrs. Stella Shotkoski, Fullerton; Mrs. Anna Witnot, Burlington, Wis.; Mrs. Leona Powlowicz, Omaha; Mrs. Veronica Clark and Mrs. Bernice Greenlee, Columbus. There are 44 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Mrs. Jarecki was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. ---- The Columbus Daily Telegram, July 14, 1950 JARECKI--Rites For Mrs. Frank Jarecki Held Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Jarecki, 82, were held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Anthony's Catholic church. The Rev. Fr. Loran Buzynski, O.F.M., was celebrant at the solemn high mass, with Rev. Fr. Martin Wolter as deacon, and the Rev. Fr. Chester Cymanski, subdeacon. Burial was made in St. Stanislaus cemetery at Duncan. Six grandsons of the deceased served as pallbearers: Delbert Greenlee, Norman Jarecki, Lucian Shotkoski, Lawrence Swantek, Ted Stachura and Arthur Jarecki.
