Nancy Elizabeth Cook Locke (March 10, 1941 - January 15, 2013) Nancy Elizabeth Cook Locke, 71, of Winona died of respiratory failure at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, on Tuesday, January 15. She was born March 10, 1941, to Stokely G. B. Cook and Lola Mae Campbell Cook in Velma, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Winona, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. John L. Walker and Rev. T. R. Darsey will officiate the services. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at Lee Funeral Home. Mrs. Locke was a homemaker, a former carrier for the Jackson Daily News/Clarion Ledger, and a florist. She lived her life taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who loved her so very much. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Edward Addison Locke III; two children, Elizabeth Ann Locke Eldridge (Robert) and Edward "Eddie" Addison Locke IV (Brenda), all of Winona; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Cook Tugman of Comanche, Oklahoma; and two brothers, John Wayne Cook of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and David Earl Cook of Comanche, Oklahoma. Mrs. Locke was preceded in death by her father, Stokely G. B. Cook, mother, Lola Mae Campbell Cook; sisters, Martha Cook Philpot and Geneva Mae Cook Nunley; and a great-granddaughter, Laura Leigh Eldridge.
