Bio
Services for Horace B. Bell, 83, Clovis, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, at 21st Street Church of Christ. Cecil Bunch will officiate. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Bell died Friday, June 14, in Clovis. He was born April 17, 1908, in Texico. He lived in Curry County all of his life and was a rancher and farmer until his retirement. He married Donie Hall Nov. 9, 1929. He was a member of the 21st Street Church of Chirst. He is survived by his wife, Donie Bell, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Marcia Bell of Clovis; one daughter-in-law, Karen Nespeca of Houston, Texas; four brothers, A. B. Bell of Texico, Fud Bell of Clovis, Glen Bell of Clovis and Ansel Bell of Farwell, Texas; three sisters, Genive Randol of Farwell, Gladys King of Alqueruqe and Bill Smith of Pauls Valley, Okla.; four grandchildren, Jady and Jack Bell, Jill Denton and Lisa Crouch; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Hall Bell, in 1963. Casket bearers will be Jady Bell, Jack Bell, Jace Denton, Allen Crouch, Gary Bell, Don Bell and Bob Kraft. Memorials may be made to Hart's Boys Ranch. Published in the Clovis News Journal, Sunday, June 16, 1991.
