Frances Roberta "Bobbie" Dickerson Scheidies, born April 16, 1920, in Holstein, Nebraska, beloved Mother, departed this life into the next January 6, 2013, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is survived by her two daughters, Robin Rae McKelvey, of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Karen Lynn Mulford of Virginia Beach, Virginia and their husbands Steven McKelvey and Anthony Mulford. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Matthew McKelvey, Taryn Raschdorf, Sarah Rose, Rory Mulford, Lisa Neddenriep, Rebekah Mulford and Sam McKelvey, There are also 10 great grandchildren Brie and Addie Hopkins and Max Rosa; Austin Neddenriep; Raymond and Andrew Mulford; and Marin, Avi, Asher and Nate Raschdorf. Preceded in death by her parents, F.E. and Gertrude Dickerson, Bobbie was the eldest of eight children. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Bruckman and Jane Esch, and her brother, Richard Dickerson of Hastings, Nebraska. Bobbie graduated from Holstein High School and attended Hastings College. She married Raymond William Scheidies in St. Louis County, Missouri on May 21, 1942, while he served in the Army Air Corps. After Raymond's discharge they became lifetime residents of Hastings, Nebraska where, among other things, she operated the Mode O Day Dress Shop for 15 years. She was an active member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church until 2004, when the settled in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she attended Beth Messiah Synagogue. Internment will take place at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, Virginia. A Memorial Service will take place in Hastings, Nebraska on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers or gifts to her family, please make donations to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings, Nebraska.
