Mildred D. (Low) Shook Jul 10, 1926 - Sep 23, 2008 Mildred D. Shook, 82, of Corsicana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008. She was born on July 10, 1926, in Pottsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Myrtle Low; son, Jim Shook; sister, Minnie Lee Shockey; and brothers J. B. Low and Chester Low. Mildred is survived by her husband, J. B. "Buddy" Shook; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Shook; sister-in-law and husband, Peggy and Joe Baumgartner; and nieces and husbands, Janet and Leon Foster, Anele and Mike Richardson, and Denise and Jerry Brown. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Scott and the Rev. Lain Teel officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Hayden Richardson, Dillon Brown, Kevin Collier, Ed Straubing, Curtis Mitchell and Roy Franks.
