BELTON — Services for Jimmy Hill, 71, of Moffat will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Bob Champion officiating. Burial will be in Moffat Cemetery in Moffat. Mr. Hill died Saturday, Jan. 5, at his residence. He was born Sept. 8, 1941, in Heidenhiemer to David Benjamin and Alma Ruth Alsup Hill. He married Paula Hill on March 15, 1962, in Temple. He had lived in Central Texas his whole life and was a member of Midway United Pentecostal Church. He worked in the propane industry for more than 50 years, retiring from Star-Tex Propane. He was a member of the Belton FFA Booster Club. He was preceded in death by his wife. Survivors include a son, Bubba Hill; a daughter, Sheila Southerland; a brother, Burl Hill; two sisters, Wanda Oliver and Dixie Doss; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
