"Jackie Charlene (Brodnax) Luetge was born on Nov. 02, 1935 in Mexia, Texas to Bruce B. Brodnax and Lillian (Wallace) Brodnax. She was married to Louie Gus Luetge, Jr. on Aug. 15, 1954 in the First Christian Church in Rockdale. Jackie was a housewife and the Co-owner of the Four Corner Grocery located at the corner of Ackerman and San Andres Streets in Rockdale and later worked at Walmart after the death of her husband. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed arts and crafts as well as caring for her yard. Jackie Charlene died Saturday, Jan. 05, 2013 at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her husband on Apr. 20, 1988; her parents; and brothers, Billie Joe Brodnax, Lyman E. Brodnax and Bruce Bernard Brodnax, III."
