Krenk, 84, of Abie, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at Beverly Healthcare in Columbus. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Abie, with the Rev. Ronald Homes officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:30 p.m. rosary, at Roberts-Chermok Funeral Home in David City, and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church. Mrs. Krenk was born May 30, 1920, near Bruno, to Ludvik and Mollie (Bruner) Koza. She married Edwin W. Krenk June 24, 1948. She lived on farms in Butler County until moving to Abie in 1978. She was a homemaker. She moved to Beverly Healthcare in 1998. She was a member of the church, St. Mary's Catholic Church Altar Society of Linwood and Morse Bluff Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidering and playing cards. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Carroll) Krivanek of Abie; one brother, Louis (Rita) Koza of Lincoln; one sister, Gladys Krivanek of Abie; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 1, 2003; one infant daughter; twin sister, Agnes Krenk; and sister, Alice Sabata.
