Klein Obituary - The deceased, John A. Klein, son of Andrew Klein and Christina Brandeiser, was born at Worms, Russia, April 20, 1873. It pleased his creator to remove him fromour midst Tuesday, February 6. Mr. Klein was 77 years, ten months and 20 days of age at his death. He was married to Fredricka [sic] nee Schmidt. To this union three children were born. His wife died in 1915. He was married to Margaretha nee Nuss on August 12, 1930, who lovingly cared for him the seven past years, since he suffered his first stroke. Left to mourn his passing are his wife; one son, Alfred of Denver; two daughters, Freida [sic] Dawson and Nora Mews [sic] of Fairbury; also nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. There are also two half-sisters, Mrs. Sophia Gerlach and Mrs. Hannah James of Lincoln and a half-brother, Ed Engelhardt of Harvard, plus a number of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at two o'clock Friday afternoon at the Emmanuel Reformed church in Sutton with Rev. Calvin Stuebbe in charge. Interment in the Sutton cemetery. Pall bearers were Donald, Kenneth, Herman and Allen Klein, Elmer Russell and and Oliver De Moude. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. John Gerlach, Mrs. Fred Zimmerle, Ferdinand Nuss, Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Engelhardt of Harvard; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver De Moude, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lantz, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Klein of Wolbach; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Allen of St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Glines of Cushing; Mr. and Mrs. Ed De Moude of Dickens; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Splinter of North Platte; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Klein and son, Mrs. and Mrs. Donald Klein and daughter, Kenneth Klein, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Russell and children of Denver; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Noren of Superior; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mewes, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mewes, Mr. and Mrs. John Mewes of Fairbury; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Babcock of Deshler and Wm.
