Bio

Death of Mrs. Frederica [sic] Klein. Frederica [sic] Smith Klein was born in southern Russia, April 9, 1878, and died at her home near Stockham on July 25, 1915, aged thirty-seven years, three months and sixteen days. She came to Nebraska with her parents when a small child and was confirmed in the German Reformed church, of which she remained a faithful member. She was united in marriage to John Klein on July 5, 1897. To this union were born three children, Alfred, Freda and Nora. Mr. and Mrs. Klein moved to the home where she died about five years ago from Wolbach, Neb., and resided there until the time of her death, and had many friends who will miss her. Mrs. Klein was a good-hearted, kind neighbor, a loving mother and devoted wife. She leaves to mourn her departure a husband, three children, five sisters, one brother and her aged parents, who reside in Sutton. The funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Presbyterian church in Stockham, Rev. Mr. Kohler of Sutton officiating. Then to the German Reformed church southeast of town, where a large company of friends were gathered, and after services there, Mrs. Klein was laid to rest in the church yard beneath a mound of beautiful flowers. She is gone, but not forgotten. Mrs. Klein will ever be remembered in the hearts of her many friends who extend their deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.
