HOLBROOK, Maynard Carson Sr., of Marion, died Saturday, November 8, 1997 at the Holston Valley Medical Center , Kingsport, Tenn. Mr. Holbrook was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army. He was a pharmacist for 44 years and was a graduate of Emory & Henry College as well as the Medical College of Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Frances Noe Holbrook of Marion; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Maynard Carson Holbrook Jr. and wife, Kenli of LaGrange, Georgia, and Timothy Kyle Holbrook of Moneta, Va.; one sister, Louise Hall of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Eugene Holbrook of Bristol, Tenn., and Monroe Holbrook of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren, Katie and Andrew Holbrook; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 1997 at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, in Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood, Va. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
