John Henry Wells m Eliz. Edwards in probably DE. In 1820 & 1850 they are in the BUncombe Co., NC census. He died after the 1850 census that showed him to be 73. & Eliz. 74. His son & wife were buried in the Brick Church Cem. near Leicester, in probably unmarked graves. His is probably unmarked, also, but I was hoping for cem. records to show he was buried there. Do you also have a record of his wife, Eliz. Edwards Wells d 1856 listed there also? ∼ died between 1850/1860 Buncombe co. North Carolina In the suit of C.C. Miller & wife vs. B.F. Wells, Admr and others is listed in "said John Wells died leaving him surviving the following named children and grandchildren who are his next of kin and only heirs at law, viz: B.F. Wells, Newman Wells, John Wells, Caroline Sensabaugh, William Wells and Robert Wells (and named grandchildren).
