Bio

Emanuel J., was born Jan. 4, 1913, southeast of Brainard, the son of Anton and Tonie (Tesina) Sisel. He attended School Dist. 92. Emanuel married Marie Rejda on October 16, 1934 at Brainard where he farmed until 1941. Twin daughters Deloris and Doris were born to this union. He farmed south of Prague, and also was a mechanic for V.R. Shimerka from 1942 to 1975. Then he worked part time for Richard Shimerka. His wife, Marie, was killed in a car accident Dec. 12, 1962 on her way to work at Fremont. On August 8, 1964, he married Mayme Ruzicka. She died Dec. 19, 1969. Emanuel married Anna H. Evert, May 15, 1971. They were members of St. John's Catholic Church in Prague. Emanuel enjoyed hunting and fishing.
