''''''''''''''''''''''''' The Crete News, May 15, 1969, p. 1, col. 3 Mrs. Macholan Services Held Funeral services were held Saturday, May 10, 1969, for Mrs. Josephine Macholan, who died May 7th. She was born July 29, 1890 in Linwood, Nebraska, the daughter of Mary and Joseph Bunda. Mrs. Macholan is survived by a son, Edward F. of Kansas City, and two brothers, Emil and James Bunda of Linwood. She was the aunt of Mrs. Ed Severin and Mrs. Joe Cink, both of Crete. The Very Rev. Msgr. Max G. DeWitt officiated at the services, and interment took place in the Catholic Cemetery at Linwood, Nebr. ___ p. 4, col. 2 CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the many relatives and friends for all their kindnesses at the time of our bereavement in the loss of our beloved mother and sister, Mrs. Josephine Macholan.
