Mary Ruth Hanna, 98, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with visitation one hour prior to the service and burial in Ridge Park Cemetery. William W. Harlow will officiate. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary or Georgia Brown Blosser Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Born July 28, 1914, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late George A. Parks and Lena Veatch Parks. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and attended Missouri Valley College. On April 14, 1934 she married Audsley M. Hanna who preceded her in death on August 15, 1972. She was active in the Marshall community where she served on the Georgia Brown Blosser Home board, member of Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary, Marshall Chapter D.A.R., Chapter G M of P.E.O., Monday Club, and First United Methodist Church. She is survived by one nephew, George Brown and wife Nancy of rural Marshall; one niece, Ann Brown McCorkle and husband David of Holts Summit, MO; along with great-nieces; great-nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Martha Parks Brown.
