Vicki Juanita Channel-Brown, 63 of McAlester, Oklahoma died Monday, December 24, 2012 at he residence. Born to Johnny Leavern and Billye Juanita (Minyard) Kuykendall in Bremerton, Washington. She graduated from Henderson High School in Henderson, Texas in 1967. She married Terry Channel July 6, 1968 and he preceded her in death in 1985. She worked as a clerk in retail. Vicki married Kevin Brown April 1988 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Vicki enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vicki was of the Baptist Faith. Survived by, Husband, Kevin Brown of the home; Daughters, Mickie Channel of Kilgore, Texas, LeAnn Griffin and husband, Jack of Crowder, Oklahoma, Robin Channel of Canadian, Oklahoma; Son, Jeff Channel and wife, Patrice of Krebs, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Chance Stone and wife Jacqueline of Ben Wheeler, Texas, Chad Stone and wife, Samantha of Tyler, Texas, Danielle Proe and husband, Michael of Crowder, Oklahoma, Clayton Griffin of McAlester, Oklahoma, Greyson Bears of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Allye Channel of McAlester, Oklahoma, Laurel Wilson of Krebs, Oklahoma; Great grandchildren: Lily Rumbeleow ; Riley Yates ; Lucy Stone ;Paisley Proe ; Rocky Trace Stone ; Brothers and sisters: Ronald Kuykendall and wife, Margaret of Bristow, Oklahoma, Keith Kuykendall of Henderson, Texas, Dennis Kuykendall and wife, Kathy of Houston, Texas, Pamela Jones of San Antonio, Texas, Tony Kuykendall of McAlester, Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Billye Kuykendall; her first husband and children's father, Terry Mack Channel; grandson, Kristopher Channel; and a sister, Terrie Ladd. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at Bishop Funeral Service. Time of Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Ash Creek Union Church with interment to follow in Ash Creek Cemetery officiated by Rev. Richard Crook. Active Pallbearers will be: Chance Stone, Chad Stone, Clayton Griffin, Steffan Kuykendall, Harold Hearod and Bill Hearod. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Greyson Bears.
