There is a cenotaph at Garden Park Cemetery . ∼ O.B. Parham Obituary Funeral services for O.B. PARHAM, JR., 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2002 at The Woodlands Christian Church, The Woodlands, Texas, with Rev. David Emery officiating. Visitation will be held at Cashner Colonial Chapel, Tuesday, September 3, 2002 from 5 to 9 .m. and Wednesday, September 4, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Parham was born on October 8, 1920 in Pottsboro, Texas and passed away September 01, 2002 in The Woodlands, Texas. He served his country in the Navy during World War II. Following WW II, he resided in Beaumont, TX, where he was the Resident Chemist at Unocal for 38 years, until retirement in 1983. Mr. Parham was a member of The Woodlands Christian Church, where he was recently bestowed the Honor of Elder Emeritus.
