dau of Arthur Winfred Phillips and Flossie Anvaline Proffitt; wife of 1st) Edward Earl Jenkins; 2nd) Billy Joe Mason; mother of Michael Edward Mason; Brenda Gail Mason (the kids were adopted by Billy Joe Mason) Mrs. Martha Ellen Phillips Mason was born to Arthur Winfred and Flossie Anvaline Phillips on November 15, 1934 near Cottage Hill. She lost her battle with breast cancer on July 2, 2007. Preceded in death by her husband, Billy, 1 sister and 4 brothers, Martha was a devoted wife and mother who is survived by; son, Mike Mason of McKinney; daughter, Brenda Roberts of McKinney; son-in law Walter Roberts of Aubrey; grandson, Tommy Medders and wife Sheryl and great grandson, Blake, all of Quinlan; grandson, Steven Roberts of Aubrey and sister Movelda Miller of Mesquite. Martha loved her family and always put them first. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2007 at Cottage Hill Methodist Church in Celina with Pastor Gerald Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and sign the registry. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:30 pm Thursday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Celina
