Joseph B. Cerveny Joseph B. "Papa Joe" Cerveny, 67, of Clatonia, passed away Friday, June 1, 2007, in Lincoln. He was born June 27, 1939, at Lincoln to Ben and Erma (Chrastil) Cerveny. He married Dixie Baker in 1959, and was divorced i969. On July 10, 1970, he married Sharon Dine at Marysville, Kan. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Dianne Cerveny of Crete, Mike Cerveny of Crete, Mark and Roxanne Cerveny of Wilber; daughters and sons-in-law. Tammy and Harlan Schlichting, of Clatonia, Angela and Keith Burger of Clatonia; grandchildren, Alexa, Atley, Hunter, Garrett, Shawn, Tenton and Colton; step grandchildren, Cindy, Tracy and Steven; great-grandchildren, Madison, Hailey, Bryce, Bryant, and Kiava; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Connie Cerveny of York, Franklin and Sharon Cerveny of Clatonia, Kenneth and Geralyn Cerveny of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters and brother-in-law, Janice and Gene Sladek of Crete, Sharon Jelinek of Clatonia; aunts, Arlene Chrastil of Wilber, Lillian Cerveny of Moberly, Mo.; uncle, Stanley Chrastil of Crete; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Ed. Vlasak; niece, Cindy Crawford, and uncle, Lumir Cerveny. Funeral services were June 4 at Kuncl Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Quackenbush officiating. Interment was at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials in care of the family. Pallbearers were Toby Bauer, Kevin Homolka, Scott Gurley, Arley Patton, Jeremy Ebeler and Ken Zweiner. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Tenopir, Butch Stern, Loren beck, Jack Smith, Mark Nelson, Danny Hutchison and Johnny Chrastil.
