Bio

Daughter of John Stephen Curran and Bridget Catherine Collins. Aunt Abby worked as a school teacher. She married August James Davis, "Uncle Jim" on 08 Nov 1918 in Holy Redeemer Church, Ennis, Tex. She lived most of her married life in Arizona with her husband, Uncle Jim, who was a machinist for copper mining companies. In 1920 lived in Gilman, Eagle co., Colorado where Jim worked as a machinist for Empire Zinc. In 1930 lived in Miami, Gila co., Arizona where Jim worked as a mechanic for a copper mine. Their niece Helen Curran, aged 11, lived with them. In 1940 still in Gila co., Arizona where Jim worked as a machine shop foreman for the copper mine. Retired in Texas.
