VICTORIA - Irene Theresa Orsak went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the age of 90. She was born on August 31, 1922 in Praha, Texas to the late Frank and Albina Barta Stryk. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral and also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Ann, Legion of Mary, and the Family Fraternal of Texas. She will always be remembered for her Spiritual strength and love of family. She is survived by: son, James Orsak (Doris) of Corpus Christi; daughter, Janis Plummer (James) of Victoria; son, Donald Orsak (Gladys) of Edna; and son, Timothy Orsak (Robin) of Victoria. Also brother, Louis Stryk of Flatonia; brother, Edwin Stryk (Julie) of Victoria; and sister, Helen Muras of Flatonia. There are 11 grand children and 18 great grand children. She is proceeded in death by parents, Frank and Albina Stryk; husband, Frank Orsak; daughter, Constance Marraggia; sister, Sister M. Bernard BSA Convent; brother, Rev. Jerome Stryk; brother, Frank Stryk; sister, Lillie Kalina; brother, Bernard Stryk; and brother, Joseph Stryk. The Holy Rosary will be recited 9:30 am Monday, December 10, 2012, preceding the Funeral Mass at the Cathedral. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Monday, December 10, 2012, at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Orsak, Jacob Marraggia, Adam Orsak, Aaron Orsak, Seith Plummer, and Shawn Plummer. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.
