Joseph Franklin "Jodie" Bassham Jodie Bassham, 76, of Corsicana, died Jan 22, 1989, at Navarro Regional Hospital. Services were 2 p.m. Monday at Paschal Funeral Home in Kerens, with the Revs. T. F. Donald and David Williams officiating. Burial was at Prairie Point Cemetery. Born in Kaufman County, Bassham had lived at 408 Northwood Blvd., in Corsicana, for the past 50 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and was retired from the Corsicana Cotton Mill. Survivors include his wife, Nadine Bassham, of Corsicana; one daughter, Geenda McCanlis of Deer Park, N.Y.; one granddaughter, LIVING; one brother, Holton Bassham of Corsicana; and a number of nieces and nephews.
