Services: 11 a.m. (CST) Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel in Synder, Texas. Birdie Wade, 98, of Snyder, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, in Snyder. She was born on Feb. 18, 1906, in Snyder. She married Clarence Wade on Dec. 15, 1930, in Curry County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She was employed for many years at Gray’s Style Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband; four sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Hatter of Albuquerque, Barbara Callaway of Gainesville, Texas, and Frances Anita Tedford of Snyder; four sisters, Hattie Lee Prather of Vinita, Okla., Bennie Prather of Olton, Texas, Vera Nell Harless of Abilene, Texas, and Patty Jean McCormack of Snyder; two sisters-in-law, Faydean and Juanita Hart, both of Snyder; four granddaughters; four great-granddaughters; and a great-great-grandson. The Rev. Steve Carter will officiate the services. Burial will be at Snyder Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cogdell Memorial Hospital, 1700 Cogdell Blvd., Snyder, Texas 79549. Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. (CST) until 4 p.m. Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel in Synder. Arrangements are by Bell-Cypert-Seale of Synder.
