Bio

J.C. Eades, 87, of Andrews passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at Hospice House in Odessa. Mr. Eades was born September 4, 1925 in Dunn, Texas to Cecil and Dessie Eades. He served in the US Navy during World War II. February 1, 1951 he married Evelyn Belew in Seminole. They moved to Andrews in 1955. J.C. served as Post Master in Andrews until his retirement in January of 1982. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Eades of Andrews; daughters Marsha Eades and husband Steve Scammon of Richmond, Washington; Cathy Harmon of Midland; son, Corby Eades of Andrews; one brother Jack Eades of Ewa, Hawaii; four grandchildren, Luke Harmon; Layne Harmon; Casey Eades and Chrissy Eades; six great-grandchildren, Logan and Cayden Eades; Gaven, Lori, Weston and Emery Harmon.
