Parents Father: John Fencl Mother: Bibiana Spouse: Beatrice M. Shaffer Marriage: Nov. 4, 1961 Sidney, Montana Otis C. Fencl, 72, Nampa, died in a Caldwell hospital on Saturday, following a short illness. He was born on Nov. 21, 1906 at Ward County, Robinson Township, N.D. to John and Bibiana Fencl and he was the eldest of four children. He worked for Dakota Engraving Company at Fargo, North Dakota as an artist before the depression. He later followed construction work and did paint contracting. He always dabbled in signs and pictorials, his life long love. He was married to Beatrice M. Shaffer on Nov. 4, 1961 at Sidney, Mont. where they made their home until 1964 when they moved to Kalispell, Mont. In 1973 he retired and they moved to Nampa where they have since made their home. He was a member of the College Church of the Nazarene and the Canyon County Gideon Camp of which he was serving as chaplain. He is survived by his wife, of Nampa; four sons, Myron, Larry and Roger Fencl, all of Coeur d'Alene, and Harold Fencl, Kenai, Alaska; a brother, Ray Fencl, Camarillo, Calif.; two sisters, Alice Burlingame, Polson, Mont., and Lillian Colstad, Hardin, Mont.; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
