Graveside services for Marie Donnell Shannon, 84, of Huntington, will be held at 6 p.m. today in the Huntington Oddfellows Cemetery with Bro. James O. Forrest officiating. Mrs. Shannon was born Oct. 9, 1924 in Huntington and died July 22, 2009 in a local nursing home. She was a seamstress. Survivors: mother, Connie Donnell; sister, Jerry Alford; brother, Billy Sam Donnell; numerous nieces and nephews. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
