80 years old Listed in Known Burials of Morehouse Parish, publication of Family History Club ------- MRS. ABER FILES IS BURIED MONDAY Pallbearerds for Mrs. Aber Elizabeth Files, who died at the age of 79, Sunday at noon in her Oak Ridge home, were her four grandsons: William Dan Files, Jr. Joe G. Files William S. Files, Jr. Neil W. Mott, Jr. Four nephews: Elmer Bondy John S. Barr, III Sam M. Abel Darrell E. Utley Mrs. Files was a native of Catahoula Parish and came with her parents: Rev. and Mrs. Dan C. Barr to Oak Ridge in 1898. Her father was assigned to the Oak Ridge Methodist Church at this time. Sher married her late husband: William Oscar Files in 1905. They both lived in Oak Ridge until his death in 1951. Mrs. Files was very active in the Oak Ridge Methodist Church where she has been a member since her early childhood. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Abram Morehouse Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Files is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Neil W. Mott of Oak Ridge, Louisiana Two son: William Dan Files, Sr. of Bastrop, Louisiana William S. Files of Shreveport, Louisiana Four sisters: Four grandchildren listed above
