Bio
Bill Chandler, 78, of Eureka, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at his residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012, in the Chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with burial following at Eureka Cemetery. Bill was born in Eureka, Texas, to the late Paul Chandler and Audra Hodge Chandler. He was a lifelong resident of Eureka as a cattle rancher, and was a member of Eureka Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by an infant son, Bruce Wayne Chandler ; and a grandaughter, LaNell Chandler. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Chandler, of Eureka; daughter, Leisa Martin, of Eureka; grandchildren, Jerry Don Ware, of Eureka, Wade Youngblood and wife, Josie, of Corpus Christie, Jesse Martin and wife, Kristin, of Bedford, Victoria Martin, of Eureka; great-grandchildren, Chandler Ware, Asher Vavra, Brooklan Ware and Alena Ware; special cousin, Aileen Tanner, of Eureka; and many friends.
