Bio

Grover Thompson, Sr., died May 4th at Platte County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Thompson moved to Platte County in 1913. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Survivors include his wife, Lena; sons W. H. Thompson, Ft. Laramie and Grover Thompson, Jr. of Wheatland and a brother, Lloyd Thompson of Miami, Florida. He was preceded in death by a sister and by sons Lloyd and Otto. (Information was obtained from his obituary in the Douglas Budget, May 14, 1970 and cemetery records.)
