Houston Post, Dean Milton Gauntt, born June 23, 1916 in Rowena, Texas, died Tues., Sep 8, 1998 at the age of 82. Mr. Gauntt was owner of Gauntt Transmission, a WW II Army Veteran & member of First Bapt. Church of Pasadena. He is survived by son, Donald Gauntt & wife, Darlene-Pasadena; granchildren: Michaelle Campbell & husband, Dr. Charles Campbell & Jeff Gauntt & wife, Antoinette. Was preceded in death by wife, Claudie Gaunt in Feb. of 1997. Visitation will begin after 8 am on Weds., Sep 9, 1998 where the family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Weds. evening at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Gauntt will be held Thurs., Sep 10, 1998 at 2 pm at Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Graveside service & interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, under the direction of American Legion Post #521 of Pasadena.
