HERMINIA SIMONTON Herminia H. Simonton, 71, of Victoria died at 8:35 p.m. Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1917, in Taylor, daughter of the late Thomas and Theresa Hurta Hodon. A resident of Victoria for five years, she was a former resident of Alice. A housewife, she was a Baptist. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Joe Love officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Surviving are her husband, Larry Simonton of Victoria; a daughter, Loretta O'Berry of Victoria; a son, Calvin Simonton of Pflugerville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
