Bio

Hugh M. Haigood, 85, of Waco, passed away Sunday, August 24, 1963. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Monday, August 26, 1963, in Connally Chapel with Rev. Dan Webb and Rev. R. H. Latimer officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. He was a retired farmer and had lived here most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. (Summey) Haigood, of Waco; daughters, Mrs. Bessie Simons, Mrs. Hallie Gaskamp, and Mrs. Dollie Brown, all of Waco, Mrs. Jewell Witt and Mrs. Pearl Sykora, both of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Allie Price, of Houston; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Preston Pulley, of Waco, and Mrs. Hattie Mitchell, of Georgia; brother, Charlie Haigood, of Walnut Springs; and other relatives and many friends.
