Ransom R. Talley, age 86, of Council Bluffs, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012, at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1926, in Lincoln, Neb., to the late Ransom and Bertha (Partsch) Talley. Ransom served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Patricia Faust on April 22, 1950. He worked as a Computer Programmer for M.U.D., retiring in 1984. Ransom was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Talley, in 1984; and 5 sisters. He is survived by son, Michael and Teresa Talley of Council Bluffs; daughter, Kathy and Dean Williams of Waverly, Iowa; 5 grandchildren, Peter and Shannon Talley, Christine Talley, Jillian and Rocky Robbins, Sean Ludwig and Channon Ludwig; 5 great grandchildren, Michael, Karigan, Kennedy, Jacoby and Brynnley.
