-------------------------- YOAKUM - Victor Stary, age 77, of Wimberly, formerly of Yoakum, passed away October 20, 2012. He was born November 27, 1934 in Yoakum to Joe Stary and Cecelia Sassin Stary. He served in the United States Army and retired after 32 years of service with Texas Department of Transportation as a supervisor in the District Maintence office. Survivors: wife, Annette Stary; daughter, Vicki Ratley (Rodney) of Yoakum; sons, Mike Stary of Deming , New Mexico, Russell Stary of Kingsland Texas and Randy Stary (Marti) of Buda, Tx.; 6 grandchildren; Shannon Ratley, Michael Stary, Misty Ratley, Kerri Ratley, Lainey Stary, and James Stary. 3 Great-grandchildren; Trinity Ratley, Teagan Ratley, and Haylee Ratley, brothers; Harvey Stary (Ellen)of Cuero, Daniel Stary(Becky) of Edna, and Jimmy Stary (Sandra) of Wimberly. Family visitation on Wednesday from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to donor's choice. Arrangements by Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home, 361-293-5656.
