Bio
Robert Don Beers, 56, of Orem passed away May 1, 2002 at Timpanogos Hospital after a long courageous battle with liver disease and cancer. He was born May 22, 1945 in Provo, Utah to Elmo "Doc" and Dorothy Kirkwood Beers. He married Lorita Burgess and later divorced. He Married Barbara Monson and enjoyed 17 years of traveling, camping, and being best friends. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1963. He was a member of the LDS Church. Robert was a craftsman carpet installer and salesman. He loved the beauty of this earth and was a gentle soul who truly cared about others. He is survived by his wife Barbara of Orem and two sons: Jared and Jeremy Beers: mother, Dorothy Kikwood Beers of Provo; three brothers: Jim (Carol) Beers, Sandy; Tom Beers, Santa barbara, Ca; Roy Beers (Jerolyn) Beers, Highland; and a sister, Sallie (Val) Shields, Boise, Id. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Steve. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
