Bio

Hattie Louise Weir went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2007. She was born March 29, 1927 in Ennis, Texas to Joe and Lois Juricek. Hattie was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and also a member of KJZT of Jourdanton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Joe Juricek; sisters Mary Chamberlin and Georgia Zuhlke; and husbands Vernon Hammonds and John Weir. Hattie is survived by her daughters Joann Heinrich and husband Butch, Mary Ann Shaughnessy and husband Marty and Patricia Hite and husband Rick. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sheila Dienglewicz, Ricky and Bianca Hite, Kelly Shaughnessy, Stacey and Joe Perez; great grandchildren Martin, Hailey Jo, Joe and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Union of Sisters of the Presentation, 8931 Callaghan Rd., San Antonio, TX 78230. A rosary will be recited Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 7PM with visitation starting at 6PM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:30AM at the church. Hattie will be laid to rest in St. Mathew's Cemetery in Jourdanton.
