Bellville Times, Bellville, Texas, Thursday, October 19, 1995: Funeral services for Frank G. Lamer, 91, of Sealy were held Saturday, October 14, 1995 at 10 00 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with Msgr. B.J. Zientek celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. The parish rosary was recited Friday, October 13, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. from the Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in Sealy. Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Sealy. Pallbearers for the service were Kenneth Zapalac, Alvin Marek, Ricky Zapalac, Rudy Stuchly, Wilbert Janecek Jr. and Larry Smidovec. Frank George Lamer was born on September 28, 1904 in Czechoslovakia to parents John and Mary Manak Lamer. He was raised in the Mixville Community area and attended school at Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Sealy. On November 7, 1939, he married the former Miss Agnes Zapalac in Sealy and was a farmer all his life. Mr. Lamer was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, the Sealy K.J.T Society and loved to read books. He died Thursday, October 12, 1995 in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Agnes Lamer of Sealy and eight nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Lamer; infant girl Lamer, sister, Mary Manak; brothers, John Jr. and Joe Lamer; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services were held under the direction of the Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel of Sealy.
