Bio

Gillah Perry married Alpheus Willhoyte July 13, 1837, in Bartholomew Co., Indiana. She died in childbirth with their only child, Gillah Perry Willhoyte, who survived. Gillah was originally buried in Shell's Graveyard, which was on the west side of Washington Street, about where 23rd Street now intersects. A number of graves were moved from there to Columbus City Cemetery in May 1915.
