Bio
Newman B. Starke, 67, a resident of Converse County since 1900, passed away at his home in Glenrock Tuesday night. He was born at Jefferson City, Missouri and came to Wyoming and Converse County in 1900. On June 26, 1912 he was united in marriage to Lizzie K. Salter. No children were born to this union. He was a rancher in the Dry Creek area for many years, moving to Glenrock about six years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother and a sister. His parents, five sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. (Information was obtained from his obituary in the Douglas Budget June 27, 1946; Glenrock Independent June 27, and July 4, 1946; and cemetery records.)
