Bio

Daughter of James E. and Bertha Sparkman Woodson and wife of Knox E. Dixon all of whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Dixon was a descendant of Dr. John Woodson, one of the founders of the Jamestown Colony. Survivors include her daughters: Nelda Hearnsberger and husband Walter, Suzanne Burns and husband James and Lynda Fleming, grandchildren: Dwaina Kerr, Lea Rozanne Hearnsberger, Anne Howard, Jeffrey Hearnsberger, Barrett Hagler, David McClure, and Daniel McClure, 13 great-grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew, and other relatives, and friends. source: The Beaumont Enterprise-March 15, 2004
