Rites Here Following Death in Washington of Edward J. Maresh Funeral services for Edward J. Maresh, 54, were conducted by Father Stanley Gorak at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Tuesday morning at 9:30. Mr. Maresh died at Stanwood, Wash., Aug. 12, 1965, following an illness of five months. Rosary was recited at the Hastings-Pearson Chapel Monday evening at 8 o'clock. Interment was at the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Edward J. Maresh was born March 26, 1911 at Ord to Joseph and Mary Brim Maresh. He lived in Valley County where he was engaged in farming southwest of Ord until 1957. He then moved to to Washington where he first took a job in a cannery. He had been employed in a dairy the past years. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Those preceding him in death were his father, one brother and one sister. Survivors are his mother, Mary Maresh; three sisters; Wilma Maresh of Stanwood, Wash., Mrs. Agnes Placek of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Marie Covert of Mt. Vernon Wash.
