Annie J. Maslonka Rites at Loup City Funeral services for Mrs. Anna J. Maslonka, 93, a long time resident of Loup City, were conducted Wednesday, January 22, 1975 at 10:00 am at the St. Josaphat's Catholic Church at Loup City, with the Rev. Robert Foster celebrating the Mass of the Christian Burial. Burial was in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Anna Josephine (Koziol) Maslonka was born in Columbus, June 30, 1882, the daughter of John and Katherine (Piekozek) Koziol. Anna was raised and grew to womanhood in Columbus. She and Andrew J. Maslonka were united in marriage at Columbus on June 15, 1905. They then moved to the Ord area where Mr. Maslonka farmed and was a mechanic for many years, until they moved to Loup City in 1947. Mr. Maslonka died on June 22, 1961, and Anna remained in Loup City to live and was a resident of the Rose Lane Nursing Home. Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Clara Kenfield of Austin, Minn., Mrs. Victoria Baker of Atkinson, Mrs. Maxine Lien and Mrs. Harry (Tillie) Knecht both of Loup City; one son, Ralph Maslonka of Williamstown, West Virginia; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and one brother Vince Koziol of Loup City.
