Barbara Jean Usasz Molesworth, 82, of Burwell, Nebraska died May 12, 2012 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burwell. Fr. Tom Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. at church with a rosary at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Community Memorial Health Center or Barbara’s great-granddaughter, Brooklyn. Barbara was born at home near Ericson, Nebraska on February 16, 1930 to Mark and Luella (Holden) Bodyfield. Barbara attended elementary school at District 10J in Garfield County and graduated from Ericson High School in 1947. After high school she worked in both the Burwell and Ord hospitals as a nurse’s aide. She married Frank George Usasz on January 23, 1951. They lived east of Ericson on a farm and later moved to a farm west of Burwell. To this marriage five children were born Moni, Mike, Jane, Sue and Robert. Frank was killed in a farm accident on January 19, 1961. Barbara then moved with her children to be near family west of Ericson in Garfield County. She then started working at the Burwell Hospital in the medical records department later earning a degree becoming a Registered Record Technician. Barbara retired from Community Memorial Health Center after almost 40 years of service. She married Everett Molesworth on October 1, 1977 and they lived west of Burwell. Everett passed away April 27th, 2007. To Barbara, family was everything. She lived her life for others and enjoyed doing things for other people. She loved her grandkids, gardening, flowers, birds, sewing, and collecting antiques. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands, Frank Usasz and Everett Molesworth. She is survived by her older brother Victor Bodyfield; five children and five stepchildren and their spouses. Children: Moni Usasz of Lincoln, Mike and Deb Usasz of Ericson, Jane and Bruce Usasz-Keber of Albion, Sue and Fred Thoene of Burwell, Robert Usasz of St. Paul. Stepchildren: John and Doris Molesworth of Ft Morgan Colorado, Carolyn and Gene Bolli of Valentine, Judy and Brent Turek of Burwell, Jan and Tucker Steele of The Colony Texas, Carl and Linda Molesworth of Burwell.
