Stanley Vitek, Jr. Dies Last Thursday; Ord Burial June 4th Funeral services for Stanley Vitek, Jr., 41, of Omaha were held Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Auditorium with the Rev. Stanley Gorak officiating. Mr. Vitek died Thursday, June 2 at the Douglas County Hospital. Burial was in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. The son of Stanley and Theresa Sedlacek Vitek, Sr., he was born March 7, 1925. He attended Longwood Grade School and Comstock High School. In 1946 he married Eleanor Skocpol in Omaha. She died in 1957. Prior to the time of his illness he was employed by the Watson Transfer Co. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Katherine and Stanel, both of Omaha, and his father of Ord. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his mother.
