Times Daily - December 19, 1986 Homer W. Pierce RUSSELLVILLE -- The service for Homer W. Pierce, 77, Route 5, will be at 2 p.m. today at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Revs. Malcolm King and Oscar Hutcheson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Spry Funeral Home, Russellville, directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. He died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1986, at his residence after a brief illness. He lived in Franklin County for a number of years, was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Katie Lee Pierce, Russellville; sons, Billy R. Pierce, Fairview, Tenn., Donald Pierce, Fulton, Miss.; daughters, Mrs. Mildred Saint, Mrs. Helen Champion, both of Phil Campbell, Mrs. Dorothy Dolan, Mrs. Marvolene Fleming, both of Russellville; brothers, Mack Pierce, Paul Pierce, both of Russellville; sisters, Mrs. Ora Lee Hardy, Mrs. Ruby Davidson, both of Russellville, Mrs. Lucy Mae Morgan, Phil Campbell; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
