People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), April 23, 1914, p. 6, col. 2 Fred Yindrick, a prosperous farmer and well respected young man living about two miles west of Bruno and Mary Trpisovsky, recently from Pennsylvania, were united in the holy bonds of wedlock at the Catholic church at Bruno Tuesday, Rev. YINDRICK OBITUARY Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Yindrick, 83, were held Tuesday, Oct. 11, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Bruno. The Rev. Wenceslaus Sladky, pastor, offered the Requiem High Mass at 9:30 a.m. The music was by the choir, with Mrs. J. G. Miratsky, organist. The Altar Society attended in an honorary body. Besides the Altar Society, Mrs. Yindrick was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary and Donald Yindrick, Ernest Kucera, Norman Pecha, Duane Hlavac, and Wm. Torpi. Mrs. Yindrick died of heart failure at the David City Hospital Sunday morning, Oct. 9, after a two-day illness. Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Trpisovsky was born in Smrnov, Czechoslovakia on Sept. 8, 1877. Her marriage to Fred Yindrick was solemnized at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bruno in April 1914. They had one son, Ernest, who survives her. Also surviving are a stepson, Chas. Yindrick, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Henry (Emma) Rerucha, and Mrs. John (Martha) Kucera, all of Bruno, a brother, Jerry Torpi, of Chicago, Ill.; a nephew, Wm. Torpi of Moline, Ill., and a niece, Mrs. James Becka, Chicago, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother and sister in Czechoslovakia and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Bendl of Virginia. Among those from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Torpi of Moline, Ill., Mrs. James Becka and sons, Donnie and Roger of Chicago, Ill., and others from Seward, Dwight, David City, Lincoln, Brainard and Bee. __ p. 11, col. 4 CARD OF THANKS – Our sincere thanks are extended to all our relatives and friends for the Masses and spiritual bouquets; for the cards sent us, and the food donated in our recent bereavement.
