Dubas was born August 29, 1897 in Valley County, Nebraska to Stanley and Harriet Koziol and died December 12, 1982 at the Burwell Nursing Home in Burwell, Nebraska at the age of 85. Victoria was raised on a farm near Elyria where she attended rural school. She was united in marriage to Leon Dubas May 8, 1916 at Ord. They made their home on a farm near Elyria until 1942 when they moved to Grand Island while Leon was employed at the Ordinance Plant. They made their home in Burwell at the Plaza in 1960, later moving to the Burwell Nursing Home. Victoria was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish at Burwell. Survivors include her husband, Leon, of Burwell; two sons, Ben Dubas of Jacksonville, FL and Chester Dubas of Niles, IL; three daughters, Mrs. Rose Urbanski of Grand Island, Mrs. Bill (Dorothy) Myers of Alhambra, CA, and Mrs. Ivan (Bernice) Booth of Johnstown, OH; 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Krason of Ord, and Mrs. Jennie Wieczorek of Iowa. She was preceded in death by six sisters, one brothers, and two infant sons. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 15, 1982 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord.
