Steve Jablonski Dies at Age 81 Steve E. Jablonski, 81, died August 17, 1976 as the result of a farm accident. Mr. Jablonski was born May 11, 1895 in Valley county to Mr. and Mrs. George Jablonski. He attended rural school for a short time. On August 26, 1919 he married Clara Denny at Burwell. After marriage they made their home on a farm near Elyria. In 1959 they retired from the farm and moved to Burwell. They returned to the farm in 1966 and made their home with LaVern. Mrs. Jablonski died on Febr. 22, 1975. Steve was a veteran of World War I and served nine months in France. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Survivors include two sons, LaVern of Ord and LaVere of Omaha; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Hansen of Omaha; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, John of Ord and William of Menlo Park, CA. Preceding him in death besides his wife were his parents, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, 1976 at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elyria with Father Stanley Gorak officiating. Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8 pm at the Ord Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery with concluding military rites by the American Legion and VFW.
