Bio

Services for Louis Pavlicek, 86, retired rural mail carrier and former resident of Bomarton for 49 years, were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Louis Pavlicek was born near Praha, Texas. He moved to Bomarton from Rowena in 1907, where he served as mail carrier for 28 years. He was a charter S.P.J.S.T. member at Rowena and local lodge No. 77. He received a 50 year merit pin from the Lodge in 1955. He was financial secretary for the local lodge for 40 years. In 1895, Louis Pavlicek married Miss Mary Zapalac of Praha, Texas. Survived by his wife; one son - B.W. Pavlicek; two daughters - Mrs. Roy Richeson and Mrs. Haskell Francis; five grandchildren; two brothers - Adolph and Joe Pavlicek.
