Mr. Charles Edward Knight, age 77, of Rockwood, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Bridge at Rockwood. Mr. Knight graduated from Rockwood High School in 1948. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the First Christian Church in Rockwood. He was preceded in death by his parents: Riley Creed & Reba Miller Knight; wife, Vivian Sue Knight and uncle, Woody Miller. Survivors include: Daughters: Tammy Marie Stevens of Pennsylvania Grandson: Josh Stevens of Pennsylvania Granddaughter: Jamie Stevens of Pennsylvania "Sister": Lynda Miller Carter of Rockwood, TN Special Nieces: Cathy Carr & Family of Oak Ridge, TN Pat Roper & Family of Missouri Cousins: Dennis Miller & wife, Kathy of Knoxville, TN Sherry Johnson & husband, Cordell of Oliver Springs, TN Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard in Rockwood with the Rev. Kara Foster officiating.
